Toyota on the Park Supports Ronald McDonald House Charities
This year, North York's Toyota on the Park made a decision to be more intentional on how they participated in their community.
As part of the dealership's Community Outreach and Donation Program, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Canada received a donation of $15,000.
In addition to this generous amount, the dealership held an Experience Day for families at RMHC Toronto.
"The kind people at Toyota on the Park are helping to ease the stress of the families we support," said Sally Ginter, CEO, RMHC Toronto.
Partnering with RMHC Canada and RMHC Toronto, the dealership's Experience Day consisted of employees from Toyota on the Park participating in crafts and activities with children staying at the House.
"We didn't want to be like everyone else and hand out a cheque and be done with it," said Toyota on the Park president Paul Walters. "We wanted to get out there and physically provide a helping hand in as many ways as we could."
Toyota on the Park also brought down two of their elite vehicles - a 2018 Toyota Camry and an orange 2017 Toyota Tacoma - to provide an Experience Day for the families. In addition, Lexus on the Park helped out their sister by sending down a 2017 LC 500. The families were able to enjoy the vehicles by taking photos and hang out with their families in a fun-filled environment.
