Boundary Ford Raises $3500 for the Lloydminster Rescue Squad
Boundary Ford has raised close to $3500 for the Lloydminster Rescue Squad.
At an event held on Thursday, the dealership invited locals out to test drive cars. For every test drive taken, Boundary Ford donated $20 to the rescue squad. They also raised money through a barbecue that was done by donation.
Joel Baynton with the Rescue Squad says he always appreciates when the community comes out to show their support.
"Whether it's just stopping by to see how they can help us out, or donating money, or in this case coming out for test drives. It's been really cool over my four years with rescue to see how much the community does come out and support us, and really help us out."
He added that the whole Rescue Squad is thankful to Boundary Ford for their support as it makes it easier when they are able to receive assistance from local businesses.
"As you notice, all of our rescue trucks are all Ford. They've been really, really great to us over the years that Rescue's been alive. It's pretty cool to have business in Lloyd that cares so much about the Rescue Squad and helps us out a lot."
